Here are a couple of References for you to consider:
A Crying Baby:
The baby may have COLIC. Here is a system to relieve that discomfort naturally:
Hungry Baby
Newborns are hungry all the time! Try to get the baby on a standard schedule, but understand the schedule needs to be set up for the Baby. You need to be ready with food when they are hungry. Is the baby on breast milk or formula? Plan in advance for either method. Do not try to prepare food when the baby needs to be fed but prepare in advance. This will reduce stress on both you and the baby. Lots of very good bargains at Amazon for that purpose.
Lots of Sleep
Babies need lots of sleep. It may seem that they are awake and in need of attention all the time but that is because they sleep in shorter time periods than adults. Keep them warm and comfortable during sleep periods. Get used to them taking short naps and then in need of food or new diapers. Be ready to change diapers often. Keep a large supply on hand. Take a look at Amazon for great bargains and take advantage of the savings.
Security
Keep your baby save from all harm. NEVER SHAKE A BABY! If you feel yourself becoming frustrated or angry, lay the baby down and walk away for a short period of time to cool down or call someone to help you get the baby calmed down. Remember to check the things that will cause a baby to cry: hungry, wet or in discomfort from some physical pain.
When you take baby out NEVER LET THE BABY OUT OF YOUR SITE. Stay calm, keep the babies safety upper most in your mind. Keep the baby warm and comfortable, always use the best carrier and car seat available, keep the baby away from obviously dangerous situations.
You have been blessed with the care of a new human being. That is a large responsibility. Ask for help when you need it. Parents are a good source of information and help, use them.
